Happy 4th of July!

We had a great busy 4th of July with the family. Our day started off with a movie.
We all went to watch Brave. This was Jessalyn's first movie since she was a newborn. She was pretty excited about it. There was a grumpy old woman sitting in front of us that turned around every time Jess made a noise. And given it was an 11:00 movie for KIDS filled with kids then she should have expected it was going to be noise.  And there was no way I was going to try to make my toddler be quiet during a movie. So I guess she finally had enough and stormed off. Oh well. If she didn't want kids to be at the movie she should have gone at 8 or 9 at night.
Other than that, Jess had a great time. She sat and played on the steps through half of the movie but she still had fun. The funniest part was when she said "Oh no!" really loud and she made the whole theater laugh. Haha.
After the movie we all met up at the pool. She didn't last very long at the pool. I decided to take her home early to take a nap since she was going to be up late watching the fireworks. She fell asleep as soon as we left the pool and stayed asleep all the way home and when I laid her in bed.

Then we went on over to the Bailey's house for a BBQ. All the kids sat on the floor to eat. It was way to hot to eat outside. She thought she was pretty cool sitting with all the kids.

Of course she loved the Bailey's dog. She did get to play outside with her for a little while.
After we all ate and hung out for a little while we went on over to Jordan's school to watch the fireworks.
The kids got to play with bubbles and run around.
She had fun with the bubbles but hasn't learned how to blow them yet. She was almost putting it in her mouth and said and saying "Bubble, bubble, bubble." with her mouth really close to it hoping that would make bubbles appear. Haha.

And we just snacked and waited.

Silly Ro Ro loved sitting in Jessalyn's chair. I love that face he is making!
Caleb was being sweet and helping Jess blow her bubbles. It's so cute hearing Caleb call her "Jessie Jess"
Then she got to watch fireworks for the first time. We didn't watch any last year because I went home sick from heat exhaustion. She was very entranced with them.
Roman kept saying "I'm so excited!"

She enjoyed the fireworks for about a whole two minutes before she passed out. Maybe she will get to watch the whole thing next year.
