Curious George exhibit with Parker

Crown center is having a free Curious George exhibit so we took Jess and her best buddy "Karker" with us.

Can't you tell how super excited they are to be hanging out with Georgr. Jess calls him "monkey George."

There was a lot of fun stuff for them to play with. She loved seeing all the people she knows from the show and the books like "man with the hat".

She spent a lot of time talking on this pretend phone. She had quite a conversation with whoever the imaginary person was on the other end.

And they both really loved playing with this cash register and play money.
She was swiping the money like it was a credit card. Haha.

After we hung out with George we walked to the food court and got some yummy sheridans after a quick picture with the Lego guy.

And then it was time to go. These two are literally inseperable!
And then they both passed out after their fun day with George.

24 week update and Placenta Previa

How far along? 24 weeks (according to my due date but I'm  been measuring 25 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: so far only about 10 pounds.

Maternity clothes? Yes! It's not that I don't fit in my regular clothes but they are fitting pretty snug. Especially my shirts so maternity clothes have

Stretch marks? I can't tell anymore if they are new or old. Lol.

Best moment this week: Getting to hear our little JJ'sheartbeat!

Miss Anything? Energy!!

Movement: All. The. Time!!! I think he moves more than he sleeps.
That should be fun after he is born... Lol.

Food cravings: Bagels and cream cheese, burgers, shakes and
Lemonade.

Anything making you queasy or sick: not lately.

Have you started to show yet: yes!! So much that everyone
Is surprised that I'm due in September. Apparently I look
Like I'm she soon.

Gender: Boy!!!

Labor Signs: Nope.

Belly Button in or out? Out.

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or Moody most of the time: still pretty moody most
Of the time.

Looking forward to: meeting our baby boy!

I had my 24 week appointment last week. Everything was great. I got to hear his heartbeat again. One of the best sounds! And just checked all the normal stuff. I keep measuring a week ahead but my due date still remains at September 25.

So far this pregnancy has been so completely different than last time. Everything all the way down to complications. I didn't have any complications with Jess. Everything was smooth sailing. This time around we found out at our 20 week scan that I have placenta previa. I've heard about it before but never really knew what it was. For those who don't know Placenta previa occurs when the baby's placenta partially or totally covers the cervix. Luckily mine is only partial so that means it's more likely to move out of the way. But what it basically means is pelvic rest for 8 weeks, no heavy lifting, and just taking it easy. Or else I could just start bleeding buckets and would have to rush to the hospital. The no heavy lifting isn't very easy considering Jess always wants me to hold her. It's a little easier when Jordan is around so he can hold her when she lets him. I had another scan on my birthday to check the progress and so far it's still the same. I have another scan scheduled for July 10th. I will be about 29 or 30 weeks around then and hopefully it will have moved out of place. If not then they will still keep an eye on it. If it doesn't end up moving out of the way then I will need to have a scheduled c-section. Which I'm really dreading. I was really hoping this time I would be able to have a different delivery and be a little easier than last time. But who knows now if that's going to happen. The only plus to this whole thing is being able to see our baby boy more than just two times like I did with Jess. All I can do now is wait and take it easy and hope something good happens.
