Easter 2014

We woke up to our Easter baskets on Easter morning. Jayven dug right in.
Jess got some fun stuff in her basket. She was so happy that we finally found the little Elsa that we've been trying to find forever!

I got some yummy goodies as well! I didn't get a picture of Jordan's basket but he got some good stuff too.
And here here's what Jayven got. It's the first time he tried the yogurt melts and he loves them of course.

We went to church after taking a quick glance at our baskets.

And Jayven fell asleep on daddy during Sacrament. This was taken after. He woke up shortly after this because Jordan tried to hand him over to me.
Since this is technically my third year actually celebrating Easter it made me very thankful for the true meaning of the celebration. I am so thankful for the sacrifice that Jesus made for us and for all the blessings we have because of him.

After church we went outside to take pictures of the kiddos in their Easter best. I couldn't get a decent picture of the two of them looking at me. And I couldn't get any of just Jess because all she wanted to do was run around and play and smell the flowers. But I think we got a few decent ones of the two of our sillies.
Of course I had to get some mommy selfies in there.
While we were taking pictures one of our neighbor friends came to join in on the fun.
Later on we went over to James and Heathers for dinner and an egg hunt.

Jess has been using the same Minnie basket she got from James And Heather for the past 3 years! She knew she needed it to put the eggs in before I even mentioned it. Here's a couple throwback pictures from the past two years.

It's crazy how much she has changed in just one year. And how long her hair has gotten!

Jayven found a chocolate candy and grabbed it. Even thought it wasn't meant for him we decided to give him a little taste for his strong efforts.
His first taste of chocolate! We knew taking it away was not going to be fun.
And we were right!
He held onto it for dear life. We had to pry it out his hands and he threw a fit as soon as we did. Haha.
He got over it pretty fast though. We had a great Easter! I hope everyone else did too.
