Christmas Eve Traditions

We spent most of the day on Christmas Eve at James and Heathers and ate some more yummy food. Since it wasn't super cold outside, Jessalyn got to play outside with the boys. She is so in love with her cousin Logan. She is always trying to give him kisses and loves hanging around him. She got to open up a few gifts from her Uncle James and Aunt Heather.

The Christmas Eve tradition is for Heather to make everyone jammies. Here is a picture of them last year. I can't believe how tiny she was a year ago! So much can change in a year.
This years jammies were so cute! Jessalyn got her own little nightgown.
She looked so adorable waddling around in her new jammies. Thanks Aunt Heather!

Since this is our first official Christmas together, we need to start making our own traditions. So one tradition we started is to all get some comfy pants on Christmas Eve. It was my idea. It's really just an excuse to add to my Aero comfy pants obsession. Haha!

Jordan was acting surprised even though he totally knew what it was. Doesn't he look pretty awesome in his matching Christmas eve jammies from Heather!
Yay! I love my new comfy pants!

Christmas in the Park

Last night we followed James and Heather out to Christmas in the park. We went last year too but it was more fun since Jessalyn got to see all the lights.
She liked these little elf guys and kept pointing at them and smiling. Christmas in the Park has Three hundred thousand lights and 175 animated figures and splashes of Christmas color.
She enjoyed watching from the backseat for a little while until she got a little restless. So we took her out and sat her on my lap in the front seat since the car was only moving about 5 mph.
She thought she was pretty cool after being able to ride in the front seat that she refused to go back in her car seat when it was over.

We had lots of fun and plan on continuing the tradition!

Meeting Santa

We went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory over the weekend. One of our favorite restaurants! I got the dulce de leche cheesecake. I think that one is my new favorite next to the banana cream. Jessalyn got to sit in a booster seat like a big girl and was loving the bread. She took that big piece of bread with her and kept eating it all the way home.
Saturday morning we had our Ward Christmas breakfast where they served pancakes and sausage.

Jessalyn watched all of her friends play but being like mommy and daddy she was too shy to actually go play with them. It takes her some time to warm up.

And she got a special treat. She got to meet Santa! HAHA! Isn't this picture priceless.

As soon as we got close to him she started grabbing onto me. I tried to sit her on his lap but all she did was this. So Santa made me sit on his lap. She still wasn't having it. So the result was me laughing and Jessalyn trying to get away. Haha. She was fine as soon as she walked away. She's funny about strangers anyway but this stranger had a very scary big beard. I would have been scared too. But I'm sure when she is older she will laugh at this picture.

After meeting Santa she hung out with her friend Nate. He's just a few months older than her. Future husband maybe? Haha.

The Princess has a Castle

Jessalyn's grammy sent her this cute Princess castle tent.
She loves crawling in and out of it. When she gets inside she smiles and has a silly little look on her face.

The funny thing about that binky is she doesn't even like binkies. She will just randomly put it in her mouth and chew on it sometimes. But she has never liked them. She looks so cute with it though doesn't she!

Thanks Grammy! She loves her castle!

Happy Birthday, Jordan!

Jordan turned 27 yesterday. I made this banner for him so he saw it when he woke up to go on his route.

Jessalyn liked snuggling with daddy on the couch yesterday. What a great birthday present.
James and Heather took us out for dinner at our favorite restaurant Oklahoma Joe's. Yum! Heather made a delicious brownie bottom cake and the boys picked out a bey blade for their Uncle Jordan so he can play with them in their bey blade stadium next time. haha. They rode with us in the car on our way to the restaurant and were so excited about the present they got for him that they told him what it was before we were even close to opening the present. lol. Thanks James and Heather and Logan and Caleb and Roman!

Cutest Face You Will Ever See!

You're welcome!

I know this just made your day. Haha.
