My Last Day

My last day of work was on Saturday. Everyone was so nice and had a delicious Mexican food potluck for me since I'm trying to enjoy real Mexican food while I can. lol. Those are homemade chips and salsa made by Melissa. Chips and Salsa is my all time weakness! I could have ate that whole thing by myself. Thank you so much everyone. The food was sooo yummy!!
Rebecca made these special cupcakes especially for me. They were a lot of work and sooooo good. They were chocolate with creamy peanut butter in the middle. Mmmm......Thanks Bec!

Rachael and Rebecca. Two of my fave girls. I'm really going to miss them!

Friends forever!!

Melissa picked this gorgeous cactus flower from her backyard for me! Isn't it amazing!

Here's my station decorated with beautiful flowers from my girls! I'm so loved :)

Here I am right before I started packing up my station. I kept trying to put it off. lol. One thing I really hate doing is saying goodbyes. After I packed everything up I started saying goodbye to everyone and that's when it really hit me. The tears started coming. Especially when I see other people crying. I have definitely been blessed to work with such amazing people that I will forever consider part of my family. I really did get lucky with them. They made my three years in the salon so much fun and we will always have lots of memories to look back on.

Moving, Moving foward and Moving on...

This has been a very interesting week for me. And the next few weeks and beyond will be even more interesting. For those of you who don't know yet, my parents have decided to move back to good ol Manassa, Colorado. We helped pack up the truck yesterday and they went on their way today. The house they moved out of was my childhood house. They lived there for 20 years, so it was sad seeing the house empty with boxes all packed up when I was used to seeing it one way for so long. I had so many memories in that house. That was always home to me even though I haven't lived there in years. It always had the same smell and the same cozy feeling everytime I walked in. But it's all for the best. My dad has been wanting to retire in Manassa with his family for quite some time now. They finally decided to go for it. They have a nice little house and are going to be surrounded by lots of family. Another bonus is we are that much close to each other.

Another big thing going on is tomorrow is my last day of work! It has been the hardest thing telling all of my clients about me moving. They have all been very excited for me and been wishing me the best but are all going to miss me. I've gotten so close to many of them after three years of working at the salon. I've also made such great friends with my fellow girls. I'm going to miss them so much! It's going to be weird not seeing their faces everyday. We have all been through so much together but we know we will always be there for each other. Jordan's last day of work was today but he said it probably won't hit him until Monday when he should be working.

We have one more week to go and we will be on our way to Kansas. Next week we will be packing and doing all the last minute things to get ready. Baby J has been growing quite a bit in my belly. I feel like I woke up and suddenly there is a baby bump. The past few weeks I have had a bump but it was still a little hard to tell if I am or not. But this week it's pretty obvious. We have one more appointment next week with the OB here then we have to find one once we get to Kansas....along with the many other things we need to find. haha.

That's what has been going on this week. More updates to come!
