Strollers, Friends and Messes...

Jessalyn has had quite the personality lately. She has been talking a lot more and trying to copy what we're saying. The words she has been saying are "Go". She learned that from daddy when she goes with him to take Penny out to potty. He tells Penny to go potty so now she says "Go! Go!" She also started saying "This". She mostly says it when she wants something from the fridge. When I open the fridge she points to the cheese and says "This". She says it for other things that she wants too but that's mostly what it's used for.
She really pays attention to what you're doing in front of her. She will hold my phone or the camera up and say "Cheese!" like she's taking a picture of herself. You know I've done that a lot with her for her to catch on. Haha. She will also say "No" randomly and shake her head because that's what I do when I tell her "no".
I found her this tiny stroller on craigslist and she absolutely loves it. At first she didn't want any of her babies to sit in it and she tried to get in. But she realized it's not meant for her so now she takes her babies for a stroll. I took her to the mall the other day with the baby stroller and everybody we passed by thought it was the cutest thing ever! I couldn't help but laugh watching her with her little stroller.
We had her friend Addy over for a little while and maybe they are best friends in the making. Haha. Addy decided to join Jessalyn in her baby crib and she just let her. We were cracking up and it was definitely a picture moment! Silly girls!
Jessalyn is little miss independent. I haven't been able to feed her food for a long time now. She has become somewhat of a picky eater and I wasn't giving her any baby food anymore since I couldn't feed it to her. She loves to hang out in her high chair so I decided to mix some baby food with some oatmeal to make it thick and a little less messy. I give her a spoon and let her go to work. She ends making a huge mess but she loves being able to sit there and feed herself so I don't mind cleaning up after it.

That's a little update of what's been going on with our silly girl.

Me Myself and Ike

We decided to stay home and have a nice dinner instead of going out to the packed restaurants. We had some lobster tail and garlic mashed potatoes for dinner and chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. My favorite! We tried to put Jessalyn to bed early but she wanted to part of all the excitement. Jordan got me these beautiful mini roses and I made this 3D picture of Jess and me.
And then he got me the most amazing chocolates ever created!!! HANSON chocolates!! The wrapping paper it came in was so pretty I didn't even want to open in.
Aren't these the most beautiful chocolates you have ever seen in your life! Haha. The names of the chocolates from left to right are Me Myself and Ike, Totally Taylor Hazelnut, Zacalicious Caramel, and Blulla Berry. They are almost too beautiful to eat.
But I had to have a taste of this beautiful deliciousness. Thank you hubby! I love them! Oh and I got him a bunch of yummy chocolates from the Russel Stover store. We are in chocolate heaven.

Slow Down!

When did my little baby go from this.....
To this?
Although she just keeps getting cuter and cuter the older she gets.
And still the same goofball.
But time really needs to slow down!

Jessalyn's First Dollhouse!

I've been wanting to get Jessalyn a doll house for a while now. I grew up playing with a doll house my dad made for me. He completely wall papered it and made all the furniture. I played with that thing for hours and hours. So technically this was a gift from Aunt Martha :)
She has loved playing with it but not exactly the way it should be played with. She doesn't quite get that concept yet but she still has fun putting things in it and taking things out. I even put water in the little bath tub and she that it was pretty awesome. She would put one of the dolls feet in the water then lick the water off. Haha. And she knows what the little sink is for because she was pretending to drink out of it. lol.

I think that I'm just as excited with the doll house. Just like I am with all of her baby dolls and barbies. I'm probably even more excited. So excited that I decided that the house was missing something.
So I made a little chair for the baby to sit in, a little baby blanket and baby pillow and a little stuffed puppy.
I made a bed complete with a comforter, two red pillows and two matching polka dot throw pillows!
The mommy and daddy needed something to sit in so I made a comfy little couch with two bright little throw pillows.
She thinks it's funny when I put them to bed and cover them. She says "Ni Ni!" (Night night) Haha. Let's so what else I can come up with.
