Parker Canyon

Jordan and I took our first camping trip together over the weekend. We went with some of the girls from the salon to Parker Canyon. We had to go out and get a bunch of things because we didn't have anything to begin with. Just like my pink bike I had to get a pink fishing pole. This was my first fishing trip and I loved it. It's so relaxing just sitting out by the lake with the sun shining down and a nice breeze waiting for some fish. We didn't catch any but it was still fun giving it a try. It took me a few tries to learn how to cast. Haha. But I finally got the hang of it. We got there on Saturday night after all of us girls got off of work. Luckily the guys had everything set up when we got there. It was nice and chilly that night so we sat around the campfire. Then Cristina got the idea that we should go fishing at 11:00 at night. Everybody got out their fishing poles and tried setting everything up in the dark which wasn't very easy. I had no idea what I was doing. We went down on the dock and went fishin in the dark. It was freezing and we weren't catching anything so we went back the the camp site. We woke up bright and early the next morning with the sun shining through our tent. Penny had a great had a great time down by the lake. I tried to make her go swimming in the water but she wouldn't go all the way in. She would put her feet in and her nose in and rescue rocks out of the water. lol. Then she just laid around and did a little sun bathing. We are probably the only girls that go shopping to buy new clothes for a camping trip and plan out outfits. But what do you expect from a bunch of hairstylists/makeup artists/ girly girls!!! Jordan and I will definitely go on another trip soon and us girls had a blast. Here are a few of many pictures.
Trying to stay warm around the campfire.

I'm sure Penny was trying to rescue a rock in the background. Haha!

We knew we were crazy but we forgot to make smores that night and we were really craving them. It didn't matter that it was broad daylight and 80 degrees. We needed to get our smores fix!

We saw these shirts and had to get them for our camping trip!

Hannah Montana: The Movie

Samantha and I got very excited when we found out they were coming out with a Hannah Montana movie. We love the show and Miley. Since we knew our hubbies would not join us for this one we decided to make a girls night out of it. We also decided we might as well go all out and get some matching Hannah Montana shirts. Haha! After out little photo shoot with the boys we headed for dinner and then the movie. We got a couple of stares when we got to the mall but we were very proud of our shirts. lol. The movie was very good by the way! There is a song in the movie called the Hoedown Throwdown and it had a little dance that went to it. We said we need to get the soundtrack so we can learn the dance. Of course Jordan thinks we are totally crazy but he wishes he had a pink Hannah shirt. hehe.
The boys had to join our little photo shoot!

Our New Bikes

We are so excited to finally have bikes. We have been talking about getting some for a while. Of course I had to get a pink one! We have a bunch of trails all around our neighborhood so we get a good workout following them. So far we have been trying to go everyday. It has been a lot of fun and soon we will be those bike riders with the spandex riding next to cars. Just kidding! We are not going that far. Haha!
Jordan got this awesome camelback.
I have to stop in between riding for
a water break to drink from it.

Baby Ryan

Yesterday I got to have lunch with my family. Unfortunately, Jordan was still at work. There are no pictures of my mom because she always tries to stay out of them. Ryan is one of mine and Jordans combined seven nephews! He is going to be one June 19. Two weeks after Wyatt. I loved the pictures I took of my dad and Baby Ryan. He absolutely loves his grandpa! All grandpa has to do is smile at him and he gets all giggly. haha. In a few years, Daddy, grandpa, and Baby Ryan will soon be watching Cowboys games together.

Here are the three generations of Pachecos.
And three generations of Dallas Cowboy fans!

This picture was taken a few weeks ago.
This shows he is a cowboy fan already
just like Daddy and Grandpa!

Life with Penny

I know Jordan thinks I'm crazy that I'm actually blogging about our dog but we love her! So yes I am the crazy lady that blogs about her dog. lol. She keeps us laughing and always has as much energy as we wish we had.

We were all hanging out in the kitchen. And this goofball has to be
everywhere we are. Including the pantry or the counter!

Her new fave thing is to jump into the bathtub and lick it.
She is a weirdo!

I think Penny has decided this is her favorite toy for now.
And yes...I am wearing a Twilight bandaid! lol

Fun With The Nephews

A few weekends ago we had Jago, Leland, and Wyatt over for a little over night slumber party. They always love going over to Uncle Jo Jo and Aunt Jamies house. They get so excited and pack up their little backpacks and get all ready to go. Jago always needs to take a movie or maybe a video game, Leland needs his Pooh blanket and Wyatt is just fine with anything we bring with him. lol. They really love Aunt Jamies closet mostly because they think everything I have in it is super hero stuff. They like to put on my sparkly belts, or "buckle" as Jago calls it, and pretend that they are Batman or Superman! I know one day they will look back at the pictures that I take and say "Aunt Jamie...what in the world were you thinking letting us dress like that!". lol. It's all good memories and perhaps blackmail one day. Just kidding! Here are just a few of the many pictures I have captured of the boys. Leland gets a lot more into it. He even found one of my shirts and thought it was a dress so he put it on and said, "I'm a mommy!" HAHA! And you know I had to take a picture of that. I figured I would share it.
