Drawing fun with the boys!

One of our favorite things to do with Jago, Leland and Wyatt is drawing and coloring...along with making music videos! We had them over night last weekend and all of us got to coloring. I decided to draw a picture of each of the boys. I'm not very good at drawing so they did come out kinda funny. The boys really enjoyed them so we took some pictures with the drawings of them.

Wyatt wanted to get on the computer. He wasn't having quite as much fun with the whole drawing and picture taking as we did. lol. When I showed Jago the picture I drew of Wyatt he smiled then laughed and said "His diaper!" lol.

Jago was really excited about his picture. He wanted to add something to it so he added a 5 for his age!

My favorite drawing was Leland. I think I captured him so well with his Pooh blanket and binkey. Haha!

I was trying to get a picture of all the boys laying straight on the ground but obviously that is very difficult to do.

HANSON Use Your Sole Tour '09

Tuesday, November 10, 2009 will be a memorable day for me. That is the day that Hanson came to Tucson for the first time.....in twelve years. I have waited for this day since I was twelve years old. Every tour that rolled around I would check the dates in search for a Tucson date. No luck. Until now.
Before every show they get together with their fans for a one mile barefoot walk to support causes to fight poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa. They donate a dollar for each person that chooses to take part in this walk. Last year in San Diego was our first walk. This walk took place at the University Mall. They came out and made a little speech about what the importance of the walk is.

Here's Taylor trying to direct traffic. Haha.

Halfway through the walk we stopped and they talked some more about the cause. They are very passionate about it and have been doing it for two years now!

I did get a chance to talk to Isaac and luckily got it on camera. That has to be one of my most memorable moments of the whole day. Here we are walking with some guy in between us...kinda. lol.

And this moment right here has to be the second best parts of the day. Or maybe it's tied with first. We were walking right behind Zac for quite some time and I knew last year that Jordan wanted to ask Zac about music but he never got a chance to. This time I told him now is your chance. So he tapped him on the should and started asking him about his favorite bands. It was so awesome listening to my husband talk to Zac Hanson about their favorite bands and the reason why they hate the radio and how stupid mainstream music can be and how much better it is to be on an independent label. I agreed with everything these boys were saying. So I had to sneak a picture of this for memories. And I also got a little bit on video. A really funny thing that happend right after they were done talking some random stupid guy started trying to sing Mmmbop to be obnoxious and I'm pretty sure he didn't know Zac was standing right next to him and he told him how it was. He said "Keep singing." The guy looked a little surprised then asked him if he was going to sing it at the concert. Zac said in so many words, " Yes but we like to sing songs more relevent to today like the songs we wrote when were in Africa." I'm pretty sure that guy felt pretty dumb after that!

At the end of the walk we ended up in some store at the University mall. They said some last words about the walk and decided to sing two songs for us. I was so excited about that. They sang The Great Divide and Where's the love. I'm glad I got this picture because camera's were not allowed at the Rialto. And I also captured some of this one video too!

They were selling a book and were doing a book signing. We didn't take any money with us for the walk so I couldn't buy it. I wasn't completely disappointed since I already have their autographs from when I met them at a concert a few years back. So I told Rebecca I would watch her get it signed.

After the walk we rushed home and washed our dirty feet and changed and made it over to the Rialto. We waited a little longer than 4 hours outside just to get in. We had to make sure we got a perfect view when we got inside. We met a bunch of really cool fans while we waited. It's always exciting meeting people who share the same love for Hanson!

Everybody kept asking about Jordan and were saying how lucky I was to have such a supportive husband to stand for so long just to get in. Yes, I know I'm very lucky!

It's so exciting to see Hanson's name all lit up! Oh and we were curious who Gwar was so we checked it out on youtube. Let me just say...if you don't want nightmares than don't be curious. lol.

This is right when the show ended at our front row spot that we waited 4 hours just to get. It was perfect. I actually almost got in a fight with some obnoxious girl who thought she could have an attitude with me and steal my spot. I realized that nobody should mess with me when it comes to Hanson. lol. I waited hours for my perfect spot and some rude girl was not about to get in the way. I even became friends with the girl on the other side of me. She helped tell that crazy girl how it was going to be. Haha.

The band Sherwood opened up for Hanson. This guy right here played the keyboard and he was so much fun. He was dancing all around and hitting the tamborine with his feet. When we saw him after the concert we needed to take a picture with him. Check out their music. They were awesome!

I was so disappointed that we couldn't take pictures inside so at the end I secretly snapped a few pictures with my phone. Here is one of them. I'm mad because I could have had some amazing pictures from the front row. Oh well. Next time!
Their show was as amazing as ever. They are the most talented band I have ever seen live. They honestly sound just as good as their cd if not better. They played a few of their new songs from their upcoming cd and a few old school ones. And yes, they played Mmmbop. I was dancing and singing along to every song. This was my sixth time seeing them and they just keep getting better and better. We waited about 45 minutes by their tour bus after hoping to meet them but no luck. I can't wait for their next tour!!!

Prescott Weekend

We go to Prescott any chance we get. We are so lucky to have Jordan's Grandparents house to stay in everytime we go. This weekend the guys had to do a little work on the house so we decided to make a weekend out of it. When the guys weren't painting or doing yard work we were just relaxing and hanging out. The weather was beautiful. Nice and cool during the night and warm during the day. Perfect weather to sleep with the windows open! Here are a some pictures from the weekend.

Good old Zena! Jordan took Penny and Me for a ride around the block. She loved it. The boys enjoyed it so much too.
The boys wanted to help out with the painting so Jago had to put bags over his shoes so he wouldn't get them dirty.

They got bored painting pretty fast. lol. It wasn't exactly the fun they thought it was gonna be.

Around the court house they were having something called 'Dog-tober fest' They had a bunch of different vendors and other dog stuff going on. We decided to take Penny over there for a walk and to see some other dogs. She was in heaven. She loves other dogs. She greeted every single one we passed by with either a butt sniff or hello sniff in their face.

She became friends with a dog with a funny haircut. lol.

We came across a few Dachshund's but Penny was the prettiest! lol

While everyone else in the house was taking a nap we decided to do a little coloring with Jago.

I forgot how much fun coloring is...

Here is our beautiful artwork! We are very proud.

The boys love Penny. She loves running around with them and Wyatt loves to grab her nose. We tell him you have to be nice to Penny and he pets her softly. We keep trying to tell him to call her Penny but he calls her "Doggy".

She had a very busy weekend. A park full of dogs, playing with the boys and rides on Zena. She was exhausted! So she decided to get a little sunbathing in while she napped.
The guys gave the claw machine a try and this is what Preston won for us. Aren't they cute!
We did a little bowling too. The boys did a great job.

Party in the USA

New Background

My favorite season is slowly approaching so I figured it was time to change the background. Living in Tucson there are really only two seasons. Summer and Fall or Hot and Chilly. Haha. I dread the summers and can't wait for them to end. So when there is any sign of the weather cooling down we all get excited. The mornings have been a lot cooler and the evenings have been amazing. The days are still WAY too hot and you're sweating like crazy while your air tries to cool your car as you drive to your next destination. Soon hopefully I will be able to start pulling out the sweaters and boots and scarves. My favorite! Penny has been enjoying the 'cooler' weather as well. We find her sprawled outside on the patio taking a little nap!

Best friends doing what Best friends do

Hangin out at Eegees! Sarah had to have a taste of eegees while she was back in Tucson. Yum!

These shirts were so cute! We had to make sure we were standing on the correct side at all times. lol.

We went shopping at Hollister. This is one of our many traditions. We stand at the clearance section for an hour searching through everything. The hollister workers must hate us because it looks like a tornado hit it after we get done. lol.

We had to make a stop at Mac! I helped Sarah with her new Mac makeup collection. We are addicted!

Penny fell in love with her Aunt Sarah and Brian just as much as they fell in love with her. Now they want to get a wiener dog so Penny can have a cousin. I said they should name it Nickle but they didn't agree.

Sarah made us a delicious german meal. She made German frikadellen(I don't know how to pronounce it but Sarah says it perfectly.), Nutmeg Mashed potatos(yum!)), Bean Casserole, and of course some sauerkraut. It was delicious!

Another one of our traditions. We love getting dressed up and going out dancing!

A mini photo shoot wearing our Team Cullen Twilight shirts!

Playing dress up again and making our famous videos!

Sarah got us these adorable friendship bracelets! I love them.

We were hanging out in the hotel in Phoenix the night before she left. We definitely didn't want the trip to end and we definitely didn't want to say goodbye.

We had such a blast together like always. Even though we don't see each other as often as we would like to we always seem to pick up right where we left off. That's one of the many things I love about our friendship. I also love how we inspire each other when it comes to anything. We are so different in so many ways and but at the same time we are so alike. I think that's what makes us such a good best friend match. If there is such a thing as best friend soul mates I think that's what we are. lol. We completely understand each other and and can act completely stupid together and laugh about it later. I'm so thankful that Sarah is such an important part of my life!
