Christmas Time!

We've had a fun filled Christmas with family this year. We've been lucky to have grandpa and grandma visiting from Arizona.

Our tradition we've had since we've moved here to Kansas City is spending Christmas Eve with James and Heather and their boys. We went over for dinner and had delicious ham, corn and mashed potatoes with pumpkin pie and cake for desert.

Then after dinner we all sat around and listened to some great stories about the birth of Christ and also sang some songs.
We exchanged gifts with all of the cousins. Jess got this adorable little Merida doll with a little pony. She kept saying how pretty she was and how much she loved her.

We attempted to get a picture of grandma and grandpa with six out of their eleven grand kids.

When we got home we did our tradition of opening up our Christmas jammies. Jordan and I always exchange comfy pants.

Christmas morning Jess and her brother didn't wake up until 10 am! She was half asleep but walked downstairs and was excited and ready to open her presents.

First we went through our stockings. Anytime anyone would ask what Santa was going to bring her age would always says "candy in my sock." Haha.
She helped baby brother by showing him all of his presents in his stocking.
She was happy enough after she went through her stocking. We had to remind her that she still had actual presents to open.

Daddy got some goodies in his stocking too!

Then it was time for the real presents. She didn't even know where to begin.

Baby brother was enjoying his new owl Christmas pop up book with grandpa.

And Jess helped baby brother open his present. We got him Rex from toy story. We figured even though he has no idea right now eventually he will love toy story and dinosaurs right. Don't all boys?

We finally completed her collection of princesses! She's been asking for Snow white and Tiana forever.

One of the presents Jordan got from his parents was a box of cereal. It's kinda a funny childhood memory for the reason why he got it.

After we opened up all our presents and enjoyed grandmas traditional cinnamon rolls and watched some movies, then we met up with James and Heather at our favorite Chinese Buffett for dinner.
I think my babies really enjoyed their Christmas. I know I did!
We ended the night with martinellis and old videos of Jordan when he was a little boy.

Jayven had so much fun he was all tuckered out with his new dinosaur. Merry Christmas everyone!!
