Branson Family Vacation!

We had a fun little family vacation in Branson last weekend. We got a really good deal on a hotel and Jordan had Monday off because of the holiday so we left on Friday and came home late on Monday. It's about three hours away and Jayven slept through half of the drive. The other half he was entertained with books and cars and a lollipop.

Saturday morning this is how he looked before be woke up. He must have slept pretty good in that hotel bed!

They had a nice outdoor outlet mall and the weather was amazing so we spent a little time walking around and doing a little shopping.

After the mall we took a little drive around town to explore. On the Main Street we drove by these awesome cars and had to stop and take pictures. A nice lady came out and told us to take as many pictures as we warn and to come back and check out  all the other cars in the museum. Which is definitely right up Jordan's alley. He loves cars! And cars from movies is even better.

After out day out we went back to our hotel and enjoyed the pool. Jayven wasn't too sure about it at first since the last time he went swimming was during the summer so he probably didn't remember. Jordan kept trying to get him to get in the water but he kept shaking his head no. Finally I just handed him over and he held onto daddy for dear life at first.
He started liking after a while.

And eventually started jumping in to daddy like he used to do.

The next day we got ready and went out to check out the car museum.
Jordan was in car heaven!

Taxi from the movie Inception.

Even Spider-Man was there! Jess and I were too scared to get too close to him but Jayven is all boy and walked right up to him like he was the coolest thing ever. I think Spider-Man might be his favorite super hero.

He was very amused with the big transformers and robots and was trying to walk right up to them. The  only thing he was actually scared of was the dinosaur.

After the museum, we went to lunch at Shorty Smalls. We've never heard of it or been there before but it was pretty yummy!

The kids got these fudgsicles with their meals.

Then we went to these fun go carts. Jayven and I just watched (he slept) while Jordan and Jess went for a ride.

They went pretty fast and she looked so tiny sitting there next to daddy. She didn't scream or cry but you can tell it was a little too much for her. She didn't say much.

Later we drive around to check out the prices for some of the museums. I waited in the car while Jordan and Jess went to go check and looked up and this is what I saw! Godzilla holding an airplane!
We decided on the Ripleys Believe it or not museum. The transformer in the front was pretty awesome!

There were a lot of interesting things for Jordan and me to see but Jess was too scared of everything.

I must admit this tall guy really creeped me out! Notice how far away I was standing.

Hulk made out of recycled materials.
The worlds largest toilet paper roll!!

Jordan found a buddy.
The worlds largest ball of string!

And there was so much more!!

Our last day we drove around some more.
They had a titanic museum but didn't think the kids would appreciate it as much as I would. I'm a huge titanic fanatic but I already saw an exhibit when we went to Vegas a while back so I was okay with just taking a picture in front of it for now.

We got free tickets to some tower thing so we went to see what it was about.
It had a pretty cool view of Branson. It also had zip-lines but they were closed. The kids were pretty worn out and tired from the trip so the next 6 pictures pretty much some up what the majority of their moods were the rest of the day. Haha.

The rest of the time we walked around another nice outdoor mall.

They had some pretty cool fountains  that Jayven was pretty mesmerized by.

If you haven't noticed, Jess took atleast one of her babies everywhere we went.
Branson was a lot of fun and we definitely plan in going back!
