New Years Eve 2010:
It's so hard to believe that this was a whole year ago!
January 2011:
She was here for our first blizzard.
And she got to go in a swimming pool for the first time and loved it!
February:
Jessalyn got to go to Colorado for the first time to visit her grammy and Poppa.
She even got to spend time with her cousin and her Tio.
March:
She started sitting up on her own!
April:
She got her first taste of baby food!
May:
This was a very exciting month for all of us. Jessalyn started crawling and got a whole new sense of freedom.
And I got to get baptized by my husband the day before my 27th birthday!!
June:
Jessalyn got her first tooth!
And she discovered how to pull herself up on the dishwasher for the first time. That was only the beginning of the trouble this girl would try to get into. Haha.
July:
We went to Worlds of Fun for the fourth of July.
The worst part of the whole year was having to say goodbye to my Pop. He is still in my thoughts and dreams every day. I love you and miss you Pop!
August:
Jessalyn took her first trip to Tucson and got her first taste of Eegee's. Yum!
And she got to meet the rest of her cousins and aunts and uncles!
September:
We took Jessalyn to Deanna Rose Farmstead.
And she also got to go to her first Kansas City Royals baseball game. Can't you tell she had a great time?
October:
We celebrated Jessalyn's first birthday!!
And got to dress up in Wizard of Oz costumes for our first official Halloween.
November:
We celebrated Thanksgiving with James and Heather and the boys.
December:
We got to celebrate our first official Christmas as a little family!
And Jessalyn met Santa! Haha.
And we ended the year off with Jessalyn's first trip to the zoo!
I've heard it many times that time flies faster once you have kids. I can completely agree with that now. This year past by so fast that it was almost a blur. All the months just seem to blend together. As fast as it went, I can't believe all the things that happened in a year. We are so happy with all the spiritual blessings we have received this year. We look forward to 2012 and all the exciting events that are in store for us.
